1. Who we are

This website, thewholeplace.com, is operated by Church of The Whole Place, a religious organization based in Austin, Texas. In this policy, "we," "us," and "our" mean Church of The Whole Place, including the Regenerative Prosperity Trust and the Wholeness Promotion Association described on our home page. "You" means anyone who visits this site, fills in one of our forms, gives a gift, or joins one of our gatherings.

2. What we collect

We collect only what you choose to give us through our forms, plus a small amount of technical information that every website receives.

When you request the HEART Wholeness Guide

  • Your name and email address.

When you give a gift by card

  • Your name, email address, the amount of your gift, and whether it is monthly or one-time.
  • Your card details go directly to our payment processor, Stripe. We do not see or store your full card number.

When you request wire instructions

  • Your name, email address, and phone number.
  • The amount you intend to give and the purpose of your gift, if you choose to tell us.

When you sign the Members Agreement

  • Your name, email address, your signature, and the date you signed.

When you text or email Jay

  • Whatever you choose to write, and the phone number or email address you write from. Texts to the number on this site go to Jay's own phone.

When you join a live call

  • Our Live Forum and Stewardship Zone calls are held on Zoom. Zoom collects the name you enter and other information under its own privacy policy.

Technical information

  • Like every website, our pages receive basic technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type, and the pages you request. Our hosting and security providers use this to deliver the site and protect it from abuse.

3. How we use it

  • To send you what you asked for: the guide, the Live Forum invitation, wire instructions, or your welcome as a member.
  • To process your gift and, for monthly gifts, to continue it until you ask us to stop.
  • To keep a record of gifts and of signed Members Agreements.
  • To reply when you write or text us.
  • To send occasional messages about our gatherings and the work of the Church. You can stop these at any time (see Your choices).
  • To keep the site secure and working, and to meet our legal obligations.

4. Services that help us

We use a few trusted services to run this site. Each one handles your information only to do its job for us, under its own privacy and security terms.

  • HighLevel (LeadConnector) hosts these pages and our forms, keeps our contact records, and sends our emails. Our emails are delivered through Mailgun, which HighLevel uses.
  • Stripe processes card gifts.
  • Zoom hosts our live calls.
  • Microsoft 365 carries our email correspondence.
  • Cloudflare helps deliver and protect the site.

We may also share information when the law requires it, or to protect the safety of a person or the integrity of the Church.

5. Cookies

A cookie is a small file a website stores in your browser. Our site sets a security cookie from Cloudflare that helps tell real visitors from automated traffic. Our form, spam-protection, and payment providers may set their own cookies so that forms and card gifts work safely.

We do not use advertising cookies, and we do not run advertising or tracking pixels on this site. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though some forms may not work without them.

6. What we never do

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We do not give your information to other organizations for their own marketing.

7. Members and the signed agreement

When you sign the Wholeness Promotion Association Members Agreement, your signed agreement is kept with your contact record so that we have a record of your membership. The Members Agreement asks every member to keep the Association's private matters, and those of fellow members, confidential. We hold ourselves to the same care with what members share with us.

8. How long we keep it

We keep your information for as long as we need it for the purposes on this page: while you are part of our community, while your gift is active, and as long as we need records of gifts and signed agreements or the law requires us to keep them. When we no longer need it, we delete it.

9. Your choices

  • Stop our emails. Use the unsubscribe link in any email from us, or write to us and we will take you off our list.
  • See, correct, or delete your information. Write to us and ask. We will respond, and we will tell you if there is something we must keep, such as a record of a gift.
  • Stop a monthly gift. Write or text us and we will cancel it.

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local law. Write to us and we will honor them.

10. Security

We use reputable providers and reasonable care to protect your information. Card details are handled by Stripe and never pass through our own records. No website or email system is perfectly secure, so we cannot promise that information will never be exposed, but we will tell you if we learn that yours has been.

11. Children

This site is meant for adults. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has given us information, write to us and we will delete it.

12. Visitors outside the United States

We are based in the United States, and the services we use store information in the United States and other countries. By using this site, you understand that your information will be handled there.

13. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will post the new version on this page and update the date at the top. If a change is significant, we will make reasonable efforts to let you know.

14. Contact us

Questions or requests about your information are welcome.
